I'm considering starting a meetup for Mobile developers

Hello! I am new to the Grand Junction area (grew up here, but have been away for a long long time) and am very interested in everything Launch West Co is doing. As my subject line states, I am considering starting a Mobile Dev meetup, focusing on Android and iOS.

Initial topics would include:
Setting up a development environment
Building a hello world app
All about design
Connecting to the cloud

Anyone up for such a thing?

I would be interested. I've done some android and not much iOS. I would especially like to learn better design practices.

Excellent. A group of us are currently working to get a code workshop or bootcamp going for web development. You probably have read that particular forum thread. I am going to wrap this into that and we would love to have you get involved with us. We are meeting on Thursdays at 6pm, location for this week is pending.
